Still building

Yes indeed , still building on the Mall, hope I can open it on the 1st of February.
M!RAMODE needs space :-) and I have a lot of that on my own SIM :-)

But I also have to divide my time for other things as well .
Mardi Gras is coming soon and I'm making a King and Queen and some more beautiful dresses for the Allure Fashion Show to come. I will keep you informed :-)
So hush hush back to work !

Preparing for Carnival/Mardi Gras

I like Clowns :-)

Since I was a child I loved Clowns, they made you laugh but they had some sadness about them too. As a child it was not easy to understand their feelings... in their performance I mean, they went from high to low . You wanted to help them, if they where in trouble, you wanted to comfort them when they cried with those Huge sprinklers, when they fel, you wanted to pick them up... Those Big shoes, the hair and make-up, costume and the stories... all I loved !

So for the Carnival coming up, or Mardi Gras, I had a fantastic day making My Clown :-) I must say it went fluently this time, but sunday I had BIG problems with attachments not staying for the dress and juwelry, it was reversing the hole thing... when linked.... it did not stay when adjusted etc...ai, NO GOOD ! I should have known... most of it was my fault :-)

Anyway I will continue with my Carnival collection to come to life... from scratch to dressed avatar, many steps to do before its a final product ! I guess not many people are aware of the work and time is involved... but you have to like doing it and as I read somewhere, it has to be a hobby :-)

Groupgift for January 2012

Yes ! The outfit and animation has been set up at the stores !
I hope you all like it, it was a lot of work to make since it was my first attempt to animate :-) but for now, all end good end lol

Announcing the 1St Annual Elf Clan Fantasy Art Fest - brought to you by IWZ Dreamz & Visionz Art Fests -
For this one I have to pass, because February is for my brand M!RAMODE a very busy one...and I need to prepare for that.
I'm making a lot of costumes for the Carnival and learning with Blender.
Also Valentine coming up and a week later Mardi Gras Celebration and not to forget the Float Parade...
Maybe the last one I can squeze in and build a float as a promotion for the Opening of the Mall, but still building on that one ...:-)

Still building the Mall

The Mall had a rest :-) the Holidays and my hunger for learning with the animations for the January gift (still to be set out next week) , I restarting building today...

But like the expression says, the road towards your goal is more satisfying, when a project is finished, all the drive and exitement has gone... :-) sort of saying, bad translation ... sorry...

Mermaid animation

I tried to do my best, but this video experiment needs some tricks of the trade :-)
In Inworldz the animation works fluently but snapping on a video is something else !

Well a New Year new promises and good intentions...
This is a cliché and still works :-) (sometimes)

I should not spend that much time on making things for the Virtual World but live more in the Real Life but I like to explore and learn things and of course you have to spend a lot of time if you want to create something worthwhile for other people !
I played with the Qavimator to make some animations,
fun but not easy ...tumbling, leaping , diving...



For the January groupgift it will be a mermaid, those fish woman creatures.
It has always been a tale but in August 2009, the town of Kiryat Yam in Israel offered a prize of $1 million for anyone who could prove the existence of a mermaid off its coast, after dozens of people reported seeing a mermaid leaping out of the water like a dolphin and doing aerial tricks before returning to the depths.The prize has not yet been awarded.
But in virtual worlds this is a good character and used a lot...

I'm thinking of making a video to capture the animation...another challenge again, I never did this :-) there goes my good intentions for the new year I'm afraid lol,
where can I buy some extra time ?
