ELYSIUM - THE UTOPIA OF THE AFTERLIFE? Is the Artistic interpretation of the artists view of afterlife. Is it heaven, hell, limbo, predatory or just a void. Come see how it is interpreted by some of the best artists within the virtual world. Feel and experience the emotion and the complexity of the entire environment. The Elysium Art Fest runs from March 22 through April 5th, hope to see you there.

For this At Fest I was eager to participate because the theme was very appealing...
Do love Angels and there are beautiful contributions of many artists !  I was very surprised to see so much imagination about Afterlife ! Its almost better than this Life , RL or whatever :-)
I will go back to make some pictures and maybe if all goes well even a machinema.
For now I'll post only a general view of my contribution. Its called 'A gleam of Heaven'

Identity crisis

I mentioned this before but it is bothering me for a long time, about my virtual name Mira Karu.
As I did some research, this is a real name and must belong to someone, wich is not a comfortable feeling. Now adays internet is used by many and a surfboard to make you stand out in the crowd (in some way). Twitter, Facebook and many more sites are the witnesses of our do's and dont's. To be honest I don't feel the urge to tell everyone what I'm doing today or if I slept well last night ! On top of that, you get those messages in your mailbox when posted and not turned off, besides I don't give a damn about the news ! I prefere serious things and keeping a low profile :-) but... that does not mean I'm not active at some degree, mostly for some pictures or clothes I make.
When I was exploring those Worlds besides Second Life, I just picked a name to visite quickly without verifying if that name already existed in Second Life ! So when I  came to Inworldz I took the same name I had just picked out and kept the name Mira Karu.
It was afterwoods I discovered I couldn't take the same name in Second Life because it was already taken.
I like consistancy and not changing like a rooster on a church tower.
Well you can say what's in a name... true...but I have build already a reputation with that name in Inworldz. I do not know the reputation of the other Mira Karu in SL...and don't want to be responsible for other actions on the net with the same name in RL or VW,  and not done by me.
Last week I got an IM saying they liked my clothes IW and in SL... ??? huh ??? I left SL years ago !

Aparently there is a good designer in SL using the same last name ! (twice)

Whiskey Monday or Whiskey Day or the blog Whiskey Shots (names are unique) she started to blog long time ago about ' Single Frame Stories',  earlier she did something similar with words  asking to write a story and we Inworldzians tried to do our best:-)) not with a good result, its not my thing lol :-)

Taking pictures and making a single frame story is a challenge, I love to let my imagination flow, but Whiskey's work is so unique and stands out ! I admire her pictures, she is a real artist. All comes so spontaneous and I love her surealism a lot !
Inspired, I also took a dive into that pool on Flikr and submitted some pictures.
But I never can beat those shadows used in her work , in Inworldz I can not get them so I'm thinking to go back to SL for having them... (I have to try another solution yet before I return )
So I have a dilemma :-) Do I start all over with a fictitious avatar name for my pictures ?
Make a blog for it etc... separate the pictures from making clothes ? On the other hand I do not like to say I'm AKA (also known as) lol.
The new name I have in mind  can be used in both worlds and wont be a Real Name...I'll think about it some more before I jump to a decision :-)  I know, I go slow and always running late...

Leaving...partir

With a lot of regret I have to leave my SIM. 
Dreaming in the distance of what once was or not even got the chance to be born,
so as we like to say here...

Partir, c'est mourir un peu; c'est mourir à ce qu'on aime. On laisse un peu de soi-même en toute heure et dans tout lieu.

Leaving is dying a little, it is dying for what we love. We leave a bit of ourselve in any time and in any place.

I will find my corner again some day...:-)

My song has ended :-)

 

Yes, I was trying to keep going with my SIM, even prepared the new Star City, but helas, I have to give up my dreams :-(  At the beginning of this year it will go off line... New Year, New beginnings, but in my case it will be an ending... well, I  also had a sort of Burn Out for making clothes... all the group notices and advertising is very hard to keep up and as you know I'm not good at preasing highly myself or my brand or gaining money out of it :-)... so be it !  I will come to Inworldz from time to time and have fun with making pictures and relax, I'll see how things go... will keep my 2 stores at Bellissima Square and Emsland even if I dont sell a thing, its hard to let go all in one time :-)  hope I will get in better spirit the coming year...

I wish you all a very Happy 2013 !

may all your aspirations, wishes come true and may life have the fulfilment you were hoping for,  in a Virtual World or in Real Life witch is more important :-)

Witchcraft needed !

Well, I have been busy behind the scene with building on my SIM for quite a while :-)
Finally I took a decision on what to make out of it. I'm like a balance, always doughting about everything lol, should I make a Fairy Forest ? or a Science Fiction Star City ? hm... started on those  and did not finish. Now the RL circumstances have pushed me in the direction of a Shopping City...Yes I do have a Mall on the Sky platform and yes its not full house...
But I have no choice for this adventure... I need some income to support my SIM.
RL is going to have changes and I have no choice, it is this solution or giving up the SIM :-(
I'll give it a try and see how things go...

I realize I have to do something in return for running it, like sales, boardwalks, advertising and if I have the ability and knowledge I will start a Magazine to write about the merchants and their works.
This is what I had in mind, I know it is not so evident to run all this and will see how things turn out. Its a lot of work looking after the rentboxes, no lost objects lying or floating around :-) see if all works like it should, yes don't underestimate the work for running all this ! I have a great admiration for Estate Managers who do this with many SIMS... and... gain a lot of money !
This is not my intend to gain, just to sustain :-)

Sorceress costume

I had posted on te last day of October ( Halloween) on the usual channnels, this Sorceress Costume, better late than never I should say...
Well afterall it is also suitable for roleplay, to be good or bad, its up to you, but mind the Pentagram's point is directed upwards so actually its ment to be 'GOOD MAGIC' to be done :-)

A visit at the Fright Fest

The Frigth Fest at the Events SIMS are worth a visit :-)
each time I go, there are no visitors...  in my timeline there are only 80 to 90 online.
Maybe at rush hour and US time it will get more people :-)

Halloween coming up !

Halloween is coming up soon ! 
The  Grid is all prepared for the Spooky scenery :-)
Inworldz Sponsered Events started the Fright Fest on the 1st of October (yes, yes I'm running behind, I know),There is a lot to see and to explore for the creepy things.
I did my best to make some new stuff, like a beautifull Bat Woman with Sculpted wings. It takes a lot of patience to learn, no good= use the X in Blender and start all over ! Many hours spent...

I made a graveyard also with sculpted prims for FACADE building brand, a part of my enterprise I have neglected lately.
Why are there only 24 hours in a day ? Or why am I so slow ? :-)

All is set up by now... if you like spooky things go visit Ghost City!
