The groupgift for M!RAMODE has been set up at the stores ! It will be available  till the end of July. Its a Mermaid with animation but you can wear it with the skirt as normal dress.  This coming weekend, Saturday, July, 07, 2012, at 2:00 PM...a new and very innovative fashion shows takes place at "Stage Aqua" below Poseidon Island, of the Magellans.

"ALLURE", the Elite and Original Modeling Agency of Inworldz, along with sponsor TIGGS Beaumont will host the first ever Beneath the Sea Fashion Show Inworldz. This is the second in a series of innovative shows that will bring the world of fashion and the multi faceted and extremely talented creators of Inworldz to all.
The genre included are beachwear and mermaid. There are fashions in these categories for the discerning male and female both. Having seen some of the fashion, I am thrilled these are being offered. Fellas, this also may be the first time you have fashion that outshines the ladies at times Inworldz.
To complete the decor, art pieces by Glory nider, of Glorywood, D&G Creations, Sapphy Rotaru, of Gallimaufry Store, Strand Starsider, of Mermaids, and Julia hathor, of Creative Fantasy have been incorporated into the sea decor that surrounds "Stage Aqua" These artisans works are seen throughout 3 islands of ocean life beneath the seas.
The fashion show will showcase creations and designs by 4 of the top creators Inworldz as well.

This will open a world of Aqua to all.
As a wonderful courtesy, Yoki Tansy of Yokfish Mermaids, (an amazing creator of male and female mer) has dressed both Raven and TIGGS. Yoki has also graciously sent over several AO's for the models
Mira Karu has generously gifted her wonderful Mer dance AO for us to distribute. Miramode, her store has them as well, and a beautiful mer alongside her gorgeous creations.

Independence Day

Independence Day is commonly associated with fireworks, parades, barbecues, carnivals, fairs, picnics, concerts, baseball games, family reunions, and political speeches and ceremonies, in addition to various other public and private events celebrating the history, government, and traditions of the United States. Independence Day is the national day of the United States.

RFL Fair Cancelled !

The Relay For Life Clothing Fair is cancelled due to some conflicts !
I will not respond and give my opinion why this has happened as I don't know all the details and concerns.

Anyway Inworldz and the organizers of the Fair will continue with this Event and support another Charity for Cancer St Jude’s Childrens Hospital.
We creators behind the scene (like me) did spent a lot of time to be prepared for this event to raise money for the good cause... But... I'm happy it was not in vain and we can contribute in a small way to raise money... for more info see this blog

Cabaret

 I love Cabaret !   Its playful, teasing and seductive but always in a dignified way !
Dita Von Teese (whats in a name) revived this Burlesque Dance and style again !


I started to make a lovely Cabaret outfit (but it took me more time to get it done then expected) , and other things that came in between ... I also started to make this chair dance for the Dance-On Dance-Off Event but it is not easy at all and I was too late as well.
Well, I have to learn a lot, but slowly I do my best, so this  'dance'... hm... its more like a moving pose :-) ... is not perfect at all... but I have placed it at the store at the Event for people to try, It's not for sale because I think its not that good quality, but learning stuff :-)

 

I made a video of that Chair Dance...but I didn't make any progress to improve the image quality :-)

Colors of HOPE

After a few days of rest and without internet connection, I restarted my work behind the scene again :-)
Yes, it has become an absolute necessity to make things. One project after the other will be set up by others for the months to come.
The Dance On, Dance Off had its opening while I was away and has still many events to come !
So that project  for me is more or less done but I'll blog about it :-)


The next one to come is the Relay For Life for the Cancer Society in the US to raise money. Also Inworldz and his habitants are involved in this and do what they can to collect money for this awful disease ...

So up we go again to the drawing board and make some dresses for the good cause :-)

Upcoming next Inworldz Event

The Founders of Inworldz are planning an event in June.
Its all about  the years 1930, 40-50 .
Main attraction is DANCE... animators or novices are asked to make dances...but if I may be bold... making dance is not easy, its time-consuming and the period asked is very fast dancing like the  Jive,The Lindy Hop, etc... most of them are couple dances !
So its a freaking out scenario for most of us :-) I hope some brave people will still submit. I did  give it a try but its not my thing, although, I know dance in RL,  LOL

Besides that, there will be stores for cloth designers to cover that time periode !
So once again, I'm trying to make clothes .... but as I go slow (was also on vacation) I hope to finish some dresses. I made some posters too, but comparing to making dresses, this is peanuts :-) I do put a lot of hours into making 1 dress, sometimes days, its really pixel work to join all the seams and pieces....(once that is done the inworld part takes place for the prims) actually it is a primitieve way of working with the templates from Second Life ! All these years no one took a good look at it to improve them... meaning,  seams for the upper and lower part have gaps and not to be solved by you, unless you do a trick and wear many layers. Even the SL templates seams do not correspond well together nicely etc... a pain in the *** sometimes :-) If I had the brains....I would try to solve this !


On my blog I can say my thing, its my speakers corner :-) and yes sometimes I like to say out loud, but I don't like to hurt people !  My Vision of things is not the Vision of some one else ! Its like reading a book, you make your own film of it and when some day others do about it, its never the same or that good as your own :-)
So for the festivities coming up, I envisioned a whole different concept !  To me its to restricted and only good for the best creators of Inworldz. The standard was set very high !
Maybe they had to give an opportunity to the 'common people' (not only the established creators) to mess around with their ideas :-) making a 1950's Bar, a Road Motel, some grunchy corners... or making a city together on an assigned plot... so it would not only be the mondaine look but also the flip side of the Art Deco :-)


Well enough fiddle-faddle, I will do my best and hope all will enjoy the coming festivities on the Inworldz Event Sims ! A lot of work, time and energy was spent to make it work and a lot of people involved to get this train rolling :-) So I do have respect for those people !

Groupgift for May

Sun Sun Sun, we really are in need  for it at the moment in my Country :-) 
Its extremely dark weather and low temperature for quite some time now... maybe that's why I was inspired by the Sun, Beach a bathing suit and Ice Creams :-)

I made some sandals (for the first time) to match, they are not perfect yet, but all I can do is exercise :-)
The  sunglasses are quite nice, also an attempt to learn with Blender.
But those are not for free... I want some sweat money for it :-) still very cheap ! Pick up your Free animated Ice Cream, just wear them and eat...
