When is Role Playing NOT role playing

I do read the Inworldz Forum every day and once in awhile there are some interesting topics !
I want quote anyone here because everyone can have its own opinion... so do I !
Normally I'm not inclined to spread my words or thoughts on Forums, Facebook, Twitter or blogs for everyone to know, but I couldn't resist for this one :-)

Yesterday I saw on TV a documentary about virtual worlds and role-playing, like Dragons, Samorai, Killers all evil characters, etc..its more like a play/game and amusement. You never could do this in real live, shooting people, flying on a horse (Pegasus), being a monster...

I could read in this thread on the forum that being an Elf, Dwarf, Mermaid... in Inworldz (and other VW's as well) is the good side of Fantasy/roleplay. It's save and does not exist, its FANTASY !
Evil and slavery tended behavior like Vampire,Witches, Gor, BDSM, Mistress/Master are the darker/bad RP things and some of them do Exist !
Witchcraft, BDSM, D/s is done in real life as well and is a 'way of living'. Maybe that's the reason for a lot of people to be offended by it as they see this RP in front of them in Virtual Worlds.

In SL I was introduced to FEMDOM, Dommes/slaves, by a friend and out of curiosity I went along but stayed somehow at the sideline because this was all new to me , I 'm NOT a Mistress in RL :-)
After awhile I gave up because it was uncomfortable for me 'playing' the Mistress... did well... but for these lifestylers it was no playing... ' When is Role Playing NOT role playing' ... see the difference ?
For them its normal behavior but with a lot of rules, so to them it is natural :-) I do agree for this kind of RP (if you call it that way) to keep it on the sims where it is normal and understood. For example running in a shopping Mall with your 'slave/sub' on a chain and kneeling at your side each time again when you stop, is not a good idea in my opinion :-) In Real Life you want see that either or very rare... and if it happens I'm sure they will get killed with the eyes of those who look at them, or see shaking heads, or maybe get a finger pointed at the forehead.
So yes, there is a place for everything, just do it your way but in the right places even in Virtual Worlds :-))

Pics from the Arts Festival

Wondering in the land of creativity :-) how many and inspiring works I came across !
Wonderful, this is for me one of the highlights of the year Inworldz ! Better than Christmas or any other season, I prefere (h)Art Wonderland :-)
I hope next year they'll do this initiative again...

First Hair&Skin Fair

Today I visited the Hair & Skin Fair, I also did yesterday, but I like to take my time to look at all the beautiful things others made. Although I know how to work with Photoshop, I always wonder how they do it :-) I love the skins of CMC and she is generous in giving free skins for groupmembers ! I love her work !
For hair , well, I have to admit I'm even more picky than for skins. It was hard in the beginning to find a good looking hair on the market. Since a few 'runovers' from the 'not so green hill anymore' on the other side, you can find good hair now adays, like the ones from EMO-tions.
They do not look like stiff prims on your head but have an own life and movement up there :-)

The outfit is made by me as a part of the new groupmembers gift for November and will be set out next weekend :-)

So what do you think, I'm not sexy looking ?

Preparing Inworldz Dreamz&Visions Exhibit

I'm having a great time preparing for the Exhibit ...
Oh, this is real fun !
Just doing how you think it should be, not be worried about the popularity, ( if you make a dress or things to sell these questions do rise ) will it be a good product, will it sell, they will like it ?
No such thing, no competition, (I ignore the contest of this event), but just having fun making sculpts, textures, pictures, compositions... its almost like working in the RL theater and that.... I loved...

I do have a group and shop (again) Inworldz for the Galaxy Art Gallery, it stayed in the drawer for awhile, but it is a good opportunity to see the daylight again :-)

My Exhibit consist out of 2 parts, a groundlevel with some works and a invitation teleport to the Orbit/Sphere up in the sky ! I advice to take the peep in the globe, you want regret :-)

Shortly we will be assigned our piece of land so we can start setting up, adjusting, and using the good scripts... I still need to speed as usual :-)))

I will post some more news about the Exhibit later !

New dresses made for the Fantasy Show

The show is over and was a great succes, I was not able to attend Inworldz so I'm in the dark for the moment how it all looked like :-)
Hopefuly I will see it on the video to be released soon !

For the bloggers I do my best and for my customers Inworldz I will put them up in the stores if I have time today ... But first I have to let you know that the prizes are higher than I was used to.
I saw all the participating brands with their goods on the catwalk kiosks for sale... and their prices where much higher than those for M!RAMODE ! Dilemma !!! If I had asked the same as I was used to, it would not have been fair to the other merchands...so I raised the prices and are/where still one of the cheapest on the catwalk :-)
But, like in real live I have to evoluate with prices, since the beginning till now they have gone way up in Inworldz, especially for formal clothing...
As excuse and for my conscience to justify this lol, I use some sculpted items for the outfits, wich means more time for making ! But ... I have an idea to compensate the higher prices, from now on (beginning november) I will put each month some dresses half price, discount, sales .... still thinking how to put it on :-)

Waiting for the Fantasy Fashion Show

Oef, I have finished my 4 new dresses for the Fantasy Fashion Show held by Allure on the 22nd of October. I worked like hell at a good speed for a Tortoise type :-)
Waiting or better said resting here in the beautiful Halloween decor for the Show !
Stttt don't tell anyone I was dreaming away on a tombstone...:-)

I had a very nice day, flying on my broom, shopping, exploring and building again, yes for the next Art Exhibiton, can't do without, it seems lol
